Q. Please share your experience of how you OVERCAME obstacles and/or struggles in your life?

A. I am an empath and for most of my life I didn't know how to take care of my self. I now know that when I am feeling overwhelmed emotionally I must move forward in an act of kindness towards myself. I also started a routine to give thanks to for as many things as I could think of in the first 10 minutes after waking up. Then I spend time meditating before journaling about what is happening in my life and what I can/can't do and what I should do to feel better. Journaling is the way I become self aware. I self reflect constantly and it helps me to continue forward in my journey. Music has also played an important roll in my mental transformation. 3 years ago when I felt the world was weighing me down I changed the music I was listening to and it helped to make a shift in my mentality. The only music I listen to when I am in my car comes from K-love or or Air 1. I sing out loud and praise God every day!
